Dundarave

Dundarave Village is West Vancouver’s dining destination.  It is a quaint, welcoming and walkable seaside village.  Home to delicious local restaurants, cafes and bakeries, visitors can wander through the village’s charming boutiques, pick up a homemade pastry and a latté from one of several coffee houses; or choose some picnic fixings.  Its gorgeous natural environment offers outdoor dining framed by mountains and the sea.

Dundarave Waterfront

The Dundarave waterfront includes a scenic beach and a playground for the children. Take a walkout to the end of the Dundarave Pier, which marks the site of the original ferry boat landing, once used by loggers and weekend adventurers. Enjoy the sights with the Lions Gate Bridge on your left and the ships coming into the Port of Vancouver from your right.

Dundarave marks the western end of the popular West Vancouver Centennial Seawalk — Vancouver’s North Shore’s very own seawall. You can walk from Dundarave to Ambleside on the seawalk. You will enjoy scenic views of the area and public art along the way. This is an easy walk that is totally accessible, and you can even take your dog. Dogs have a special walkway right beside the seawall.
