8 Healthy Restaurants on Vancouver’s North Shore

Vancouver’s North Shore has many delicious but healthy options so you can still enjoy eating out but keep that new year’s resolution.

Here are eight places you can get healthy, veggie-packed meals!

1. Buddhaful

Buddha-Full fuels Vancouver’s North Shore with healthy organic, gluten-free, vegan, and raw food from it’s two locations in Lower Lonsdale and Northwoods. Both locations have a relaxed West Coast atmosphere where you can pick up smoothies, acai bowls,  buddha bowls, and sandwiches and wraps.


2. Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods

Real foods are at the centre of Tractor Everyday Healthy Foods menu. Choose from healthy bowls, handmade salads, and light fruit and veggie-packed breakfasts. Its location within Park Royal shopping center is sure to keep any healthy eating on track.


3. Tao Organics

Tao Organics in Lower Lonsdale has a menu of healthy and nutritious vegan, raw cuisine. Their varied menu includes vegan delights such as Rawsagna, nori rolls, burgers, and pizzas. It’s a great place to go for a filling and nutrient-rich meal.


4. Heirloom

Heirloom offers a contemporary vegetarian dining experience coupled with a food menu that boasts healthy, eloquent and addictive food. There are vegan and gluten-free options and the majority of our products are sourced locally! Heirloom is famous for its brunches with dishes like Truffle Mushroom Benny and Keto Hash.


5. The Anchor Eatery

The Anchor Eatery in West Vancouver is a coastal surf town-inspired eatery specializing in fresh and conscious eating. Their new tuna poke is a must-try and they are well known for their wholesome breakfast menu.


6. The Workshop Cafe

The Workshop Vegetarian Cafe in North Vancouver is a Japanese-inspired restaurant created by a team of Chefs, Artisans, Bakers, Nutritionists, Educators and Personal Trainers with a shared vision. Their menu of noodles, rice bowls, and baked goods is made from locally-grown, organic, and fairly-traded ingredients wherever possible.


7. Green Moustache Organic Cafe

The Green Moustache Organic Cafe has a menu made up of 100% organic, plant-based, whole-food meals, desserts, juices and smoothies. Your food is made from scratch and produce is fresh and pure – no preservatives, processed or prepackaged products are used – and locally sourced where possible. They are well-known for their delicious smoothie menu which includes blends such as the Zappa: Banana, blueberries, greens, turmeric, black pepper, ginger, and also for their gluten-free, dairy-free dessert menu which doesn’t use processed sugars.


8. Larry’s Market

While Larry’s Market is actually a vegetarian grocery store, inside you will find their delicious cafe and deli! Larry’s Eatery has a number of grab n’ go sandwiches, elixir lattes, and mains that you can take home to cook like vegan lasagne, veggie burgers, and bake your own vegan pizzas. A perfect stop when looking for a picnic to eat at The Shipyards or to take out to Waterfront Park.
