Scuba Diving

British Columbia was voted the #1 diving destination in North America by Scuba Diving Magazine because of its biodiversity and vibrant life. You’ll find the best Vancouver dive sites less than a 30-minute drive from the city’s center in West Vancouver which means you can make it back to comfortable hotels and fine dining in minutes.

Whytecliff Park

Whytecliff Park in West Vancouver is the must-do Vancouver dive site. Here you can find a number of different dives as well. The location is also a popular spot for group scuba diving training. Dives feature a large amount of local wildlife including sponges, fish families, solitary ling cod, eels. anemone gardens, crabs, sea cucumbers and often appearences from our resident seals.

Scuba Diving Seasons

Summer is the busiest time of year as people look to explore the warmer waters but our locals know that fall and winter are the best times for optimum visibility and seeking out local wildlife and the water doesn’t get that much cooler!

Seadragon Charters

Seadragon Charters in Horseshoe Bay will help you discover the North Shore waters with scubadiving and snorkeling in Whytecliff Park as well as boat tours through Howe Sound.
