If your idea of fun involves water, the North Shore has everything from ocean to streams for you to kayak and paddle in. Sea kayakers can paddle in the tranquil ocean waters of Deep Cove, Indian Arm, or Horseshoe Bay; while the rushing rapids of the Capilano and Seymour Rivers are popular with river kayakers.

Deep Cove Canoe & Kayak Centre

Deep Cove Canoe and Kayak Centre is located in picturesque Deep Cove on Indian Arm, only 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Sea Dragon Charters

Sea Dragon Charters offers kayak rentals as well as a multi-activity scuba & kayak tour. This excursion departs from Horseshoe Bay taking you to the nearby seal colony of Pam Rocks in scenic Howe Sound. Here, marine lovers have the chance to experience a face-to-face encounter with harbour seals in their natural environment. There is also ‘sightseeing only’ option is also available for guests who wish to stay dry on board.
