North Shore Jazz Festival 2026

North Shore Jazz celebrates its 25th anniversary June 19 to June 28 with an especially eclectic and exciting line-up. Presented with Vancouver International Jazz Festival, North Shore Jazz features three stellar concerts at the BlueShore Theatre at Capilano University and five free shows at venues across the North Shore, including a grand finale oceanside at Waterfront Park. Spanning sophisticated jazz to global beats and groovy funk, North Shore Jazz offers music for everyone.

Kids and Family

Bring your friends or meet new ones at free North Shore Jazz shows. Featuring jazzy soul, R’n’B, worldbeat, bossa nova and funk music, these concerts encourage dancing in the daylight!

  • June 19 – Ndidi O: Alt-country, jazzy blues, and Irish traditional elements, at West Vancouver Memorial Library.
  • June 20 – Ensemble Constellation & Guests: Blend of African, Iranian and classical music, at Civic Plaza.
  • June 21- Ivan Hartle – Chill grooves and timeless soulful vibes, at Lynn Valley Village.
  • June 27 – Sofia Avelino sings Elis Regina: Enjoy an afternoon of classic bossa nova, at Civic Plaza.
  • June 28 – Queer as Funk – Ace nine-piece funk ensemble plays North Shore Jazz grand finale concert beside the ocean, at Waterfront Park.

Three North Shore Jazz evening shows at BlueShore at CapU theatre showcase the best in jazz and Motown music. Experience impeccable homages to Miles Davis and Stevie Wonder and big band fronted by one of Herbie Hancock’s favourite singers.

  • June 22 – Ron Di Lauro Sextet- Kind of Blue: Tribute to Miles Davis: Impeccable homage to a classic album.
  • June 25 – Daniel Hersog Jazz Orchestra featuring Darynn Dean: Thrilling big-band experience with expressive, powerful vocals.
  • June 26 – Krystle Dos Santos – Songs in the Key of Life: A Celebration of Stevie Wonder: Impeccable musicianship meets Stevie Wonder’s unmistakable spirit.
