North Shore Jazz Festival 2025

North Shore Jazz features fantastic concerts across the North Shore, including free, outdoor shows at Civic Plaza, Lynn Valley Village, and The Shipyards—plus three stellar ticketed concerts inside Capilano University’s BlueShore Theatre. From jazz and funk to soul and global grooves, experience local and international artists, presented by BlueShore at CapU and Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

Five free shows at the 2025 North Shore Jazz festival include:

Farah Siraj: Arabic jazz-pop band fronted by singer-guitarist Siraj. June 20, West Vancouver Library, 7:30 pm.

Waahli & Guests: Hip-hop, Afrobeat, reggae and Haitian funk act from Montreal. June 21, Civic Plaza, 1 pm.

Honeybear, The Band Vancouver retro soul quartet. June 22, Lynn Valley Village, 1 pm.

Taras Luka: Vancouver-based Ukranian accordionist’s quartet fuses jazz and pan-Latin styles. June 28, Civic Plaza, 1 pm.

Tina Leon: Soul and R&B singer-songwriter from Montreal. June 29, The Shipyards, 7 pm.

Mary Ancheta’s Maqkestra Performs Music of Betty Davis: A 1970s funk sensation! With singers Dawn Pemberton, Leo D.E. Johnson and Krystle Dos Santos. June 21, BlueShore at CapU, 8 pm, $40.

Mick Flannery: Irish singer-songwriter star. June 23, BlueShore at CapU, 7:30 pm, $40.

Corey Harris: Blues inflected with reggae and West African music. June 26, BlueShore at CapU, 7:30 pm, $40.
