Canyon Lights

Re-capture the feeling of wonder and excitement of the holiday season and be amazed by the hundreds of thousands of lights throughout Capilano Suspension Bridge Park when visiting during the holidays. The Suspension Bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, rainforest and canyon are transformed into a world of festive lights and visual enchantment.

Canyon Lights will run in 2020 from December 8 to January 3, 2021. Named one of the most spectacular holiday lights displays in the world, Canyon Lights is set to dazzle and amaze, high above the forest floor. The suspension bridge, rainforest and Capilano River are ablaze with lights, Treetops Adventure (the eight tallest Christmas trees in the world) is lit from top to bottom, the “Arc de Lumina” light tunnel mesmerizes on Cliffwalk, while the Snowy Owl Prowl scavenger hunt entertains the whole family. Kids of all ages can explore the Park in search of lit snowy owls in a scavenger hunt with weekly prizes to be won.

A tradition for many Vancouver families, Canyon Lights welcomes guests back with some operational changes to ensure the health and safety of visitors and staff remains the top priority. Tickets and annual passes must be purchased in advance online. There will be a limited quantity of tickets available each night for designated entry times, to limit contact upon entry and reduce capacity. All ticket sales are final. BC annual pass holders will also be required to reserve their time online prior to their visit. Book early to avoid disappointment. Face masks or coverings will be required in the Park.

For a pre-opening special, a family pass for two adults and two children (up to age 16) will be offered for $115 and includes annual passes for those from BC. The family pass rate increases to $125 in December. Book now.
