Canada Soccer House Kicks Off on Vancouver’s North Shore

June 5, 2026 | Tags: ,

Painted faces, chants echoing across the field, and flags waving through the crowd, the  World Cup has arrived in Vancouver!

From June 13 to July 7, the world’s biggest tournament is descending on Canada’s West Coast and bringing its unparalleled energy with it. With seven official matches happening at BC Place, there is a fever pitch building across our communities as we get ready to cheer our hearts out.

And nowhere else is that anticipation more palpable than at the official soccer fan headquarters on Vancouver’s North Shore.

Located in our beautiful Shipyards District, the Uber Eats Canada Soccer House North Vancouver is your ticket to getting even closer to the world’s favourite game. Completely free to attend, this is a community festival unlike any other, with people from across the globe descending on the waterfront site to represent their country and join in the excitement. Every game will be broadcast on the event’s centrepiece, a 29-foot wide screen, showing every beautiful cleat print in glorious detail, while throughout the venue, you can wander through all kinds of activities dedicated to the love of the game. Official merch vendors will be ready to deck you out in your favourite country’s swag, while food and drink stations will be on-site, raising a toast to Team Canada. You can play interactive games, win prizes and even meet some of the players with athlete meet-and-greets! Set to energetic party tunes by live local musicians, with the backdrop of the sprawling Vancouver skyline, this is set to truly be a once-in-a-generation celebration.

For those of you stopping by from outside the North Shore, getting here is as straightforward as an open net! There will be increased Seabus sailings, a bicycle valet parking service, and plenty of public signage about where off-street parking is available. There will also be free North Shore shuttle buses cycling between The Shipyards, Grouse Mountain, Capilano and Edgemont Village on an hourly schedule. In other words, we are READY for you.

Put on by Canada Soccer and Uber Canada, the collaboration also brings perks that go far beyond the party grounds. To mark the occasion, Uber will have gameday offers to keep you in the cheering section no matter where you’re watching. That means deals on delivered food if you’re relaxing on your couch, and transport offers so you can get to the stadium and find your seats in time for the anthems. The venue can hold 5,000 people, and while it can host one heck of a shindig, admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, so keep that in mind when you arrive!

Oh, and did we mention that it’s free? No admission or ticket needed, this is an all-ages, family-friendly experience, that during the final games of the cup, is going to be the PLACE to be. So show up with your jersey on, your game face ready, because this is going to be one for the books!
