Join Ponnie from The Craft Pod to learn the basics of seed saving and how you can start a garden with minimal investment. We will cover dry and wet seed collection and money-saving ways to obtain plants for your garden. This workshop is intended for the beginner gardener wanting to grow on a budget and participants will receive a seed-saving kit.
The Craft Pod is a free little library with the mission of making hobbies accessible to all and in so doing creating opportunities for new friendships, community and an improved state of wellbeing. Ponnie, the library steward, is a mom of two 24 hours a day, a late-night gardener and a daytime fitness professional specializing in women’s health and the postpartum period. She is a serial crafter and professional knitter with most of her knits appearing in film and TV. This in-person program is open to everyone. Registration is required.
