Walking Routes
Let's start with some simple walking routes. The seawalls along Ambleside
and Dundarave in West Vancouver are perfect for a scenic stroll; while
Waterfront Park in North Vancouver provides a bustling port as a backdrop.
For those who want to step up the pace, try a walk through the
woods of the Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve, Lynn Canyon Park,
the Capilano River Trail or Cypress Provincial Park.
West Vancouver Seawall Walk
You'll feel like a local as you stroll this picturesque seawall that affords perfect views of Vancouver's Stanley Park, the Lion's Gate Bridge, and the freighters moored in English Bay.

Mosquito Creek Trail
Mosquito Creek Trail is a wide, gently sloping trail that begins at
Mosquito Creek Park, at the corner of Fell Avenue and West 17th Street in
North Vancouver. From there, it winds along the creek bank, through the
forest and all the way up to William Griffin Park on West Queens. The trail is
dog-friendly and, in the lower part, wheelchair accessible. There's parking
available near the trailhead on 17th Street.
North Shore Spirit Trail
The Spirit Trail will be a waterfront-oriented, multi-use greenway that will provide pedestrians, cyclists, inline skaters and people with wheeled
mobility aids access across the North Shore. This 35-kilometre greenway
will connect existing cycle paths and walkways with newly developed trails
from Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove. The first section of the trail, called the
Squamish Nation Waterfront Greenway, is now open. The pathway begins
at Waterfront Park and travels through the Mosquito Creek Marina.
Panorama Park
Panorama Park has a paved, half-kilometre waterfront walkway with
views of the southern end of Indian Arm, boats moored in the cove and
the mountains beyond. It is dog-friendly, and has easy access for those
with disabilities. Take Mt. Seymour Parkway east from the Trans Canada
Highway to Deep Cove, about 6.5 kilometres from the highway. After you've
enjoyed your walk, take a few minutes to explore the Cove's charming
village.
