Lynn Valley
Tucked between mountains in North Vancouver, Lynn Valley is a lush, pretty
neighbourhood thickly bordered by parks and forest. Lynn Canyon Park is
home to spectacular second-growth rainforest, and offers a range of hiking
trails for all abilities; a suspension bridge that hangs high above Lynn Creek;
and an ecology centre that is a font of information for curious visitors.
Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, connected to the Lower Seymour
Conservation Reserve, has its own attractions: from fishing at peaceful
Rice Lake to trails that link up with this section of the North Shore spiderweb
of walkways called the Baden Powell trail.
Central Lynn Valley is located at the corner of Mountain Highway and Lynn Valley Road, with a
shopping centre and a new village plaza hosting a variety of charming shops.
Be sure to visit the End of the Line General Store, at the top of Lynn
Valley Road. It's full of historic pictures of the area and local
souvenirs.

Located at the top of Lynn Valley, this charming general store has a café and deli. Grab a coffee or something to eat before or after your outdoor activity in one of the three parks, which converge only steps away. The store also features local art and souvenirs.
Getting there: BUS: 228/229/210
The 228 bus stops right across the road from the store. If you take the 229 bus, you have to get off at Lynn Valley Road and Peters Road and walk up the hill a few blocks. If you take the 210 bus, you get off at the Underwood Park stop and walk back to Dempsey Road turn left and walk one block to the store.
